PG Aquatic Centre Pool

The Prince George Aquatic Centre is a one of kind facility in the Province of British Columbia. This first class national standard facility is the only aquatic facility with a 10m diving tower in addition to the 5m and 7.5m diving towers. The design of the facility allows flexibility to host several different types of events including short course swimming, long course swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo. The facility is centrally located just minutes away from all other amenities and is also complimented with a second aquatic facility just a short drive away.

The Barracuda Swim Club and the Pisces Swim Club are two very dynamic clubs that are dedicated to the development of excellence in swimming in Prince George. The Mantas Dive Club also trains in Prince George. All of the local clubs have a strong base of committed volunteers and have extensive experience in hosting regional, provincial and national events. Event history includes; 1991 BC Special Olympics, 2001 BC Short Course AAA Swimming Championships, 2001 BC Special Olympics, 2002 BC Seniors Games, 2003 BC Summer Diving Championships, 2007 BC Summer Swim Championships, 2008 BC Seniors Games.
