Top artistic gymnasts must have many different attributes and they must also possess psychological qualities such as the courage to attempt difficult tricks and to compete under intense pressure, and the discipline and work ethic to practice a routine many times. The Prince George Gymnastics Club supports their athletes in every way and continues to provide exceptional training facilities and competitions to encourage their athletes to aspire to a higher level.
The Prince George Gymnastics Club has a training facility that is unique for British Columbia due to its size and layout. The 16,000 square foot space is fully equipped with all of the required apparatus including a pit. The Gymnastics Club has hosted regional, provincial and national events and has access to other larger facilities that can meet the national standard for competitions. The multitude of energetic volunteers will provide assistance wherever it is needed. Most recently the club hosted the 2008 Western Canadian Championships.
