Prince George is a vibrant community of 80,000 where the beautiful outdoors and a sporting lifestyle reign supreme as the city's number one attraction.  Prince George is located in the central interior of British Columbia, but we are just as close to the City of Vancouver as many of its nearby suburbs.  Of all the benefits that Prince George has to offer, perhaps accessibility is our greatest.

Over 15 daily scheduled flights are available from Air Canada, Westjet and Central Mountain Air to destinations including Vancouver and Calgary.  Prince George is a short one-hour flight from Vancouver (often the length of a commute in a larger urban centre), with flights between Prince George and Vancouver leaving several times daily, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Upon arrival in Prince George athletes will quickly discover the advantages of training in BC's Northern Capital.

After arriving at the Prince George Airport, athletes will take only 15 minutes to reach the heart of Prince George and the hotel of their choice.  A trip to Prince George will save countless hours on the ground as athletes can reach their training centres, restaurants and entertainment and amenities all within 10 minutes from the door of their hotel; a feature than cannot be matched by a larger community.  Athletes can spend more time training and less time commuting.

Aside from air travel, tourists and athletes alike can opt for the bus or train; modes of travel that allow those new to BC to experience its grandeur first hand.  Prince George's central location makes it one of the most accessible cities in all of BC, and the perfect headquarters for your training.
