The community is proud of its small town feel and welcomes visitors from around the world to our affordable, friendly, easily accessible services. Prince George has many world-class training and fitness facilities, as well as fitness and training experts than can serve the needs of visiting athletes, from individuals to full teams.  Our facilities offer the opportunites for sport-specific cardiovascular and strength training in the gym, the pool, on the track and on the ice surface. There are two superb swimming pools including one with a regulation size 50-metre pool and numerous deep and shallow water training opportunites.

From our ice rinks and arenas to the Otway Nordic Centre, Prince George has developed world class facilities over the years and we continue to strive for improvement and development every day. Our dedication to athletics is demonstrated through the Northern Sport Centre initiative, through the development of a new outdoor oval, and through our development as a High Performance Centre for biathlon and cross-country skiing.
