Prince George is BC's Winter Capital, Gateway to the North, and home to the very best in winter sports training, and the ideal location for your winter training needs leading up to the Winter Games of 2010 in nearby Vancouver/Whistler.

Take advantage of the best Prince George has to offer; all the amenities of a large urban centre, but the accessibility that can only be offered by a city this size. A wide range of accommodation is at your finger tips, from 5 star executive suites, to double rooms that comfortably fit 4 people; but best of all, no matter where you choose to stay, you'll never be more than 10 minutes away from your training grounds!

Prince George is especially proud of its winter training capacity in 5 Olympic sports and can offer national-class venues to suit your needs:

Prince George also boasts of accessible facilities for paralympians in training, and has active clubs in sports including wheelchair curling and wheelchair basketball.

From our Olympic sized arena, to our cross country trails, Prince George can offer the same training opportunities afforded by larger urban centres, but without the high cost, long commutes and complications of a big city.
